BlazeRail vs Pika

Pika started as a video-generation studio and now resells the same third-party media models we do through a developer API. Where both catalogues carry a model at the same tier, the price is directly comparable - so that is what this page compares.

Which Pika this compares

Pika sells two different things. pika.art is a consumer subscription metered in credits, and a credit has no published dollar value on its own. dev.pika.art is their Business API: prepaid, with every operation quoted in USD against a public catalogue. Only the second is a per-request rate, so that is the one this page compares.

Pricing

The rate on a model's page is what its requests cost - no percentage is added on top. The platform fee is charged once, when you buy credits. This page renders a live table of same-model, same-resolution, same-tier comparisons against Pika's public API catalogue, refreshed every six hours.

Where Pika is the better choice

Pika 2.5, Pikaframes, Pikascenes, Pikaffects, Pikaswaps and Pikadditions are Pika's own models and we do not resell any of them. A flat monthly subscription also beats metered billing when predictable spend matters more than per-request cost, and Pika ships a web studio where we are an API only.
